Fixed Mobile Telephony is an "APP" based calling service provided by BSNL which allows customers to initiate / receive VoIP calls within and outside the network based on IP either from his laptop / mobile i.e., calls can be made to any landline, mobile, VOIP from BSNL LFMT number.
A laptop/mobile or any device which can connects to internet over broadband / wifi / 3G / 4G data network of any operator.
A BSNL Soft client or an easily available Open source Soft Client like Zoiper, CSipSImple, Linphone, etc.
How to get the service running?
You can avail our SIP phone service by filling a CAF at nearest customer service centre. Kindly fill the correct mobile and email id while registration as further communication will be done to this mobile and email only.
After creation of number a SMS will be sent to your mobile.
Kindly check your email for 16 digit PIN sent to you for activation of your services.
You can login to our portal http://ngn.bsnl.co.in/ and activate the LFMT number with the PIN communicated to you through email. Once you login to the portal, you will be guided to set the password for the number allotted to you.
Remember not to share your LFMT password with anyone. It may cause misuse of your LFMT number.
Download any stadard SIP Client from APP store like Grandstream Wave, Zoiper, Linphone etc. and configure as per the configuration help in this portal
Now you can use your LFMT on the move.
